Sustainable, holistic agriculture has always been a matter of course for us. As IP-Suisse producers we stand for animal-friendly, environmentally friendly production, protect natural resources and pay attention to structural and species diversity.

Like all IP-Suisse farmers, we are committed to implementing a predetermined number of measures to promote biodiversity and protect natural resources. On our farm, for example, there are special so-called biodiversity promotion areas that provide habitats for a large number of living creatures. In this way we actively promote a diverse animal and plant world and different habitats for humans, animals and plants. We pay attention to near-natural, extensive and graded cultivation and attach great importance to a closed nutrient cycle, which means that we do not need to buy in feed or artificial fertilisers.

We focus on suckler cow husbandry, because rearing calves in the suckler cow herd is a very natural form of husbandry which is highly beneficial to animal welfare and significantly promotes animal health. Cows, calves and a bull live together in a large family. The calves are with their mothers from birth and drink the milk directly from their udders. Thanks to the feeding of farm-produced grass, hay and silage, we produce the highest quality label meat.
